VIBRAM®

We proudly equip nearly all our multi-sport and hiking shoes with Vibram® outsoles for 2 reasons. First, no company does a better job of creating lug patterns that provide stability in all conditions, with no luugs placed under the arch, so your foot flexes more naturally for grater comfort. Secondly they've created two advanced rubber compounds - Trek and TC5+ - that provide sure fraction on both wet and dry surfaces in even the most extreme temperatures.

POLARTEC®

As an inventor of the fleece, Polartec® knows instulation better than virtually anyone. This revolutionary fabric provides warmth without weight using air pockets designed to retain body heat. Polartec® breathes easily, dries quickly, and stands up to pilling better than any fleece on the market.

PRIMALOFT®

Ultra-fine multi -diameter fibres are woven together through a proprietary process that aligns the material with the structure of the footwear, creating a cocoon that is torsionally strong yet highly resilient, keeping moisture and cold out while breathing with ease.

ETC.® ANTI FRICTION LINING

Friction in footwear leads to heat build up which leads to moisture, causing cold and blisters. ETC® was developed in the lab and perfected in the field to create the lowest coefficient of friction in the market, which means less heat and moisture and more comfort. These linings hold their colour, breathe, and are highlt resistant to deterioration. And with integrated antimicrobial protection, bacteria is reduces by up to 99%,

THINSULATE INSULATION®

Get all the warmh without any of the compromise. We use Thinsulate® in 200 and 400 gram weights to provide extremely light, lightly breathable insulation for both cool- and cold-weather pursuits. It won't break down or compress, even after year of wear, and retains less than 1% of its weight in water so you never have to worry about moisture or odour. Whether you are speed hiking on a crisp fall day or trekking through a blizzard, Thinsulate® keeps you covered.

AEGIS® MICROBE SHIELD

While some anti-microbial treatments block odour, Aegis® takes more aggressive approach, with an onslaught of polymer spikes that rupture the cell walls of odour producing microbes that stops odour on its tracks, unlike chemicals that can wear down or produce resistant superbacteria. Aegis® never wears out, won't leech out despite repeated washings, and won't harm the environment.

ORTHOLITE® COMFORT FOAM INSOLES

Ortholite® provides out-of-the-box for longer than any footbed, thanks to a spacial open cell polyurethane that retins 95% of its cushioning after the first year, far exceeding the 30% offered by traditional EVA footbeds. THe open cell structure also lets air pass through, which allows odour- and blister-causing moisture to evaporate. And as a finishing touch, an environmantally friendly biocide is added to combat microbes. Ortholite® insoled are produced for us in single, dual, or triple density, and are also moulded to Q-form® specifications.

GORE-TEX® COMFORT SYSTEM

Nothing says dry, warm, and breathable like GORE-TEX®. We leverage three different GORE-TEX® technologies formulated just for footwear - Extended Comfort, Performance Comfort, and Insulated Comfort - strategically leveraging each depending on the level of activity and anticipated temperature. Extended Comfort footwear has been engineered to repell moisture and enhance breathability during high-energy activities either indoors or on warmer days. Performance Comfort Footwear is optimized for all activites in cooler temperatures; and Insulated Comfort Footwear has been desingned to keep elements out, even during the coldest winter activities.
